2% Lanthanated Tungsten (BLUE) has similar characteristics to 1.5% Lanthanated with better arc starting, arc stability, and less tip erosion. Best general purpose electrode for both AC/DC using inverter or transformer based power sources. Recommended for use in AC TIG welding applications
