This Culinary/Kitchen/Chef knife is forged from 15N20 and 1084 damscus steel and has a beautiful pattern. The handle is constructed in a Wa style and is composed of a copper collar on the front of the handle followed by an orange Maple burl bolster, black Ebony collar, and spalted Oak burl to finish it out. The handle has been buffed to the point of being able to see the chatoyance in the two pieces of wood. Blade length is 8 5/16 inches, 14 9/16 inches overall, spine thickness 3/32 inches. Forged.
It comes with a Poplar Wood Saya (Sheath) dyed black with a blade pin constructed of the same materials as the handle.
