DeltaMax 25EC is a synthetic pyrethroid insecticide for the control of caterpillars, beetles, thrips and aphids on a broad range of fruit and vegetable crops, and on trees and ornamentals.

What it controls:
– Caterpillars.
– Beetles.
– Thrips.

Crop use:
– Vegetables (beans, brassicas, tomatoes, onions, potatoes).
– Fruit (grapes, tamarillos, kiwifruit – with restrictions).
– Field Crops (maize, sweetcorn).
– Lucerne.
– Ornamentals and Trees.
Withholding Periods: (VERY IMPORTANT).
– Beans, brassicas, tomatoes → 3 days.
– Onions, potatoes → 14 days.
– Tamarillos → 7 days.
– Lucerne → 21 days.
– Maize/sweetcorn → 7 days.
– Grazing restriction → 14 days after spraying.
Some key restrictions:
Grapes: only before flowering.
Kiwifruit: stop at bud crack.
Squash: stop at flowering.
Application & Mixing:
Add directly to spray tank with agitation.
Keep agitation running during spraying.
Requires good spray coverage for effectiveness.
Resistance Management:
Avoid repeated use in the same window.
– Brassicas: use Feb–Aug only.
Rotate to different mode-of-action insecticides outside this period, Important because pyrethroids can lose effectiveness quickly if overused.Generally compatible with most insecticides/fungicides, May react with some wettable sulphur formulations.
