Pressure Switch to suit Shurflo 2088 Series 45psi pump.
Specifications:
– Compatibility: Fits Shurflo 2088 series pumps.
– Pressure Range: Adjustable from 20 to 40 PSI.
– Material: Santoprene diaphragm assembly.
– Function: Restores automatic on/off cycling when the pump reaches the target pressure.
Replacement Steps:
1. Disconnect the power wires from the pump.
2. Remove the screws holding the old pressure switch assembly in place.
3. Lift off the old switch and note the orientation of the internal diaphragm and spring.
4. Place the new diaphragm and spring into the exact same orientation.
5. Secure the new switch with the screws, being careful not to overtighten and crack the plastic housing.
6. Reconnect the electrical wiring and test the system.
7. The pressure can be calabrated with an allen key.
– NOTE: When adjusting the replacement pressure switch, DO NOT increase the pressure rating by more than 5 psi over the pump’s original stock rating, to prevent damage to your pump.
