Haloxyken 520 is for the Selective Control of Grass Weeds in Forestry, Orchards, Nurseries, Non-crop Areas, and Certain Broadleaf Crops.
ACTIVE INGREDIENT:
Contains 520 g/L HALOXYFOP-P as the methyl ester in the form of an Emulsifiable Concentrate.

Use, Application & Rates: (high level).
Selective post‑emergence Herbicide for Control of many Grass Weeds and Storksbill in Broadleaf Crops, Orchards, Forestry, Tree Nurseries and some Vegetables.
Application Methods:
– Boom (200–400 L/ha).
– Aerial (100–300 L/ha).
– Knapsack, Spotgun, High Volume; follow label for nozzle/pressure and spray quality.
Rates vary by Weed Species:
– Wild Oats ~95 mL/ha.
– Annual Grass Mix ~115 mL/ha.
– Perennial/ Tougher Grasses 240–960 mL/ha.
– Pampas ~1450 mL/ha.
– Use higher rates for advanced growth or stressed Weeds.
– Some species (Hair Grass, Chewings Fescue) not controlled.
– Do not plant Cereals, Maize or Grass Crops within 12 weeks of treatment (soil residues).
– Observe withholding periods (e.g., peas/lentils — not after flowering; onions — do not apply within 5 weeks of harvest; asparagus — not during cutting season).
Mixing, Cleaning & Compatibility:
– Partially fill tank, add product, agitate, add Results Spraying oil or Pennitr8 if recommended, then water.
– Compatible with Triazines and Clopyralid; do not tank‑mix with other Herbicides unless proven.
– Thorough tank/equipment cleaning and decontamination procedures specified—follow label instructions (alkali detergent recommended; avoid chlorine cleaners).
Resistance Management:
Contains an Aryloxyphenoxypropionate (Group 1). Repeated use may select resistant biotypes—rotate modes of action and follow resistance guidance.

Personal Protection & Handling:

– Do not Eat, Drink or Smoke while using.
– Remove contaminated Clothing and Wash Hands/Face before Meals.
– Apply with Calibrated, well‑maintained Equipment.
– Avoid spray drift.
– Do not apply into/onto Water.
First Aid & Emergency:
If Swallowed:
– DO NOT induce vomiting.
– Contact National Poisons Centre 0800 POISON (0800 764 766) or a doctor immediately.
For Skin/Hair:
– Remove contaminated Clothing and flush with water.
For Eyes:
– Rinse immediately with water.
If Inhaled:
– Move to fresh air; seek Hospital Care if breathing difficult.

– In Transport Emergency Dial 111.
Storage & Disposal:
– Store in original tightly closed container in locked, dry, cool area away from Food, Seeds and Fertilisers.
– Follow NZS 8409 requirements.
– Do not store with Class 1, 2, 3.2, 4 or 5 substances.
– Triple rinse empty container and add residue to spray tank.
– Recycle via Agrecovery or dispose in approved landfill per label.
Environmental & Transport:
– Very toxic to aquatic organisms; avoid contaminating waterways. Must not be applied into/onto Water.
– UN3082, environmentally hazardous substance, liquid, n.o.s. Packing Group III. HAZCHEM 3Z.
– Do not carry on passenger service vehicle.
Record Keeping & Regulatory:
– Keep usage records if ≥3 L applied within 24 hours (NZS 8409).
– Registered under ACVM and HSNO (NZ) — see label for registration/approval numbers and full conditions.
– Haoxyken is nonylphenol ethoxylates (NPEs) free.
