The Blue Sea Systems ML-RBS is a magnetic latching remote battery switch for high-amperage DC battery circuits, with manual control at the switch and remote operation from a helm, electrical panel, or other protected control location. Across the range, it carries a 500A continuous rating, a 700A intermittent rating for 5 minutes, and uses a bi-stable coil that draws no operating current while the switch is staying ON or OFF.
This switch is built for battery isolation and load switching on larger marine electrical systems where long battery cable runs are better kept short. It can switch high current under load, includes a manual override knob with a LOCKED OFF service position, and uses 3/8″-16 tin-plated copper terminal studs with 7/8″ stud length for large cable terminals.
